What is The Strongest E-Liquid You Can Buy?

When people first get into vaping it can be intimidating hearing new terms and trying to figure out what works. If you’ve come here wondering what the strongest e-liquid is, you’ve come to the right place. Below we’ve detailed all the different nicotine concentrations that are available including the strongest e-juice you can buy, and provided some suggestions as well.

WHAT IS E-JUICE?

E juice, or e liquid, is the liquid used in electronic vaporizers. The juice is typically composed out of a varying mixture of propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, flavorings, and nicotine. There is a large variety of flavors and nicotine concentrations available that are suitable for almost everyone. It is a somewhat thick mixture, and usually comes in either a small glass or plastic bottle with a drip cap. All of these substances have been approved as “generally safe” by the FDA, and for the time being pose little to no health risks to people.

How to Choose the right Nicotine Concentration

Before we begin to dive into the different concentrations, and who they’re suitable for, consider asking yourself the following questions:

  • Have I used nicotine products before?

Yes: Consider leaning toward a higher concentration of nicotine

No: Consider starting off with a low dose, and maybe even zero nicotine

  • How often will I be vaping?

Frequently: Consider leaning toward a more moderate concentration of nicotine

Casually: Can have juices with higher concentration of nicotine

  • How big of a person am I?

Small: Should consider moderate to low levels of nicotine

Medium: Should consider moderate levels of nicotine

Large: Should consider moderate to high levels of nicotine

It’s important that you’re honest with yourself when answering these questions considering nicotine can be toxic to your body, and potentially poison you if too much is consumed at once.

Nicotine Concentrations & Recommendations

There is a large variety of nicotine concentrations available today, ranging from 0mg/mL all the way to 36 mg/mL. Below are some descriptions and reccomendations based on each concentration.

Regular cigarettes typically contain on average about 12 mg of nicotine in the tobacco. However, according to the CDC you only absorb about 1 mg of that 12 usually. That's why people must be careful when selecting their concentration of nicotine in their vape juice. It's much more concentrated, and your vaporizing more at once.

0 mg/mL (.00%) (non nicotine vape juice)

This e-liquid has no nicotine in it, and is suitable for beginner's, or people who just enjoy the tastes and the hobby. It allows people to try flavors and different combinations of juice mixtures before they get into adding any nicotine.

3 mg/mL (.03%)

This e-liquid has the lowest levels of nicotine concentration, and is a good starting point for most people. By starting at this point, people can get a much better feel for how strong they want their concentration to be without getting too uncomfortable. If you're just starting out on your vaping journey be sure to start with this concentration before proceeding to move up.

6 mg/mL (.06%)

This e-liquid has about double as much as the previous concentration, and you'd be sure to feel the difference if you vaped it. If you're just starting out, unless you're a tobacco user I would start with 3 mg/mL. This bump up can be felt pretty quickly if you're body isn't used to the nicotine.

A good way to control your nicotine concentration, save money on e juice, and create the flavors you love is to MAKE YOUR OWN.

12mg/mL (.12%)

Doubling up again, this e-liquid is for heavy tobacco users or heavy vapers who are used to this concentration. This is where the nicotine spectrum starts to get relatively heavy, and people should proceed with some light caution. This heavy of concentration can be hard to handle if your body isn't used to heavy tobacco usage.

18mg/mL (.18%)

We recommend moving up to 18 mL if you're a heavy tobacco user trying to get off heavy cigarette usage. It's a heavy concentration that will help calm some cravings.

24mg/mL (.24%)

The second strongest e-liquid concentration has 24 mg/mL of nicotine and is commonly preferred by people who smoke about a pack of cigarettes a day. This is also a pretty heavy option, and we would only recommend heavy tobacco users to try this concentration.

36mg/mL (.36%)

This concentration of nicotine is the highest that you'll find. This e-liquid is best for seriously addicted people who smoke more than one pack of cigarettes on a daily basis. It helps ease some severe nicotine cravings by giving you a heavy dose of nicotine in your bloodstream fairly rapidly.
