I don’t know how many of you people reading this are concerned with your health but it’s time for a wake up call.
YOU SHOULD ALWAYS CARE ABOUT YOUR OWN HEALTH.
But, I’m not going to give you life advice so no need to press the back button just yet.
We all know the health and wellness industry is already relatively unregulated, which means it’s important we’re all aware of what we’re putting in our bodies.
When it comes to vaping, and the chemicals and compounds that go into producing your substances, it’s important to understand that NOT ALL JUICE IS MADE EQUAL.
You must be cautious, and know what you’re looking for. For starters I would try and stay away from cheap e juice. Usually it’s cheap because it doesn’t have the same quality ingredients as other juices have. Hence why it’s cheaper…
Below we’ve listed 17 reasons why you should consider avoiding cheap e juice:
Chronic Dry Mouth
Cheaper liquids generally have high PG content, PG is a humectant, which can cause chronic dry mouth and throat

Asthma Aerosol
PG is the chemical used in asthma inhaler aerosols, and no one wants to be vaping a ton of that all day

Throat Irritation
High PG content can cause throat irritation that can last from days to weeks

Lower Temperature
High PG content means you can’t vape at high temperatures without burning your liquid

High PG in Nicotine Base
The base nicotine in the mixture typically contains high levels of PG

Low Quality Ingredients
The flavors in your juice aren’t as good since they’re using lower quality ingredients

Low Vapor Production
Low VG content which means you won’t produce as much vapor

Contain Low-Grade Oils
May Contain low grade oil-based flavorings

Diacetyl
May Contain Diacetyl

Acetyl Propionyl
May contain Acetyl propionyl

Acetoin
May contain Acetoin

Too Watery
May contain too much water making it too runny and clogging your vape up

Allergies
PG can cause an allergic reaction to some of the population

Develop an Allergy
Like any chemical that isn't naturally occuring, over exposure to PG can lead to the development of an allergy

Bad For Pets
House animals, especially cats, are extremely sensitive to PG

Companies Lie
The company might not be telling you the truth about the ingredients

Container Absorption
Might come in plastic bottles which tend to absorb your liquid

Conclusion
Some people may dispute the effects and consequences of using juices that contain a large portion of PG, but the fact is that it just isn’t as organic as VG. It's a man made substance, and when consumed in large volumes over long periods of time it can be slightly hazardous. We aren’t saying to necessarily go completely PG free, however a lot of people do just for organic reasons. It’s okay to usually have around 20-40% PG content; this helps preserve the liquid for longer periods of time, as well as adds some more flavor to the mixture.
We’re not telling you to go out and spend a fortune on e juice! There is definitely plenty of options when it comes to juice, but we just want to make sure you’re all aware of some of the consequences of buying cheap e juice. Please be careful going forward, and happy vaping!
